Steps

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F. Place the sliced kielbasa into a disposable foil pan, add the candied jalapeños and 1 tablespoon of BBQ seasoning, then toss to coat. Smoke for 1 hour.
  2. Stir in the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ seasoning until the sausage is evenly coated.
  3. Increase the smoker temperature to 350°F and return the pan to the smoker. Cook for 1 additional hour, stirring once halfway through if desired, until the sauce is thick, sticky, and caramelized.
  4. Remove from the smoker and serve immediately while hot.

Ingredients:

  • 2 (14 oz) packages kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 1 jar candied jalapeño slices
  • 2 TBSP BBQ seasoning, divided
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
