Stuffed Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Bread

Steps

  1. Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Hollow out some of the inside to create a pocket for filling.
  2. Line the hollowed center with 1 cup shredded mozzarella. Add the Italian sausage, seasoned with garlic & herb seasoning.
  3. Place the stuffed bread on the grill, meat side down, using Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend pellets for smoky flavor. Grill at 350°F until the bread is lightly toasted and the sausage is cooked through.
  4. Spread marinara sauce over the sausage layer. Sprinkle on the remaining mozzarella cheese. Lay pepperoni slices across the top.
  5. Return the bread to the grill until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Toast the bottom once more until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and chopped fresh parsley. Slice and serve hot for cheesy, meaty perfection.

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
