Sticky Sweet Baby Back Ribs
You can’t go wrong with ribs, especially if you follow Bear Mountain ambassador Joey DiApice of @BBQFriend’s tasty and sweet recipe.
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 4.5 hours
Serves: 2-4
Ingredients:
- 1 Rack of baby back ribs
- A rub of your choice (we used The Gospel All Purpose BBQ Rub by Meat Church)
- Sweet BBQ sauce
- Charcoal (we used Jealous Devil’s Chunx 20lb XL Lump Charcoal.
- Bear Mountain BBQ’s Cherry BBQ Wood Chunks
- Your favorite sweet BBQ sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 250F. Add charcoal and Bear Mountain’s Cherry BBQ Wood Chunks.
- Take the membrane off of your ribs. Season them liberally with the rub of your choice, we used Meat Church’s The Gospel BBQ Rub.
- Place ribs on the smoker and leave alone for 4 hours or until the internal temperature is 200F.
- Once your internal temperature hits 200F, baste with your favorite sticky sweet BBQ sauce and cook for another 30 minutes or so until the sauce is nice and tacky.
- Remove the ribs from the grill or smoker and let rest for about 15 minutes before slicing to enjoy.
