Steps
- Preheat your pellet smoker to 350°F using Bear Mountain BBQ Gourmet Blend Pellets.
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove, chop into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add the onions and green peppers and cook for 5–7 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked and the vegetables have softened.
- Add the baked beans, ground beef mixture, chopped brisket, and bacon to a large foil pan or cast-iron skillet. Stir in the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, hot sauce, and BBQ rub until well combined.
- Place the uncovered pan on the smoker and cook at 350°F for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once the beans are thick, bubbling, and caramelized around the edges, remove them from the smoker and let them rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

- 2 (28 oz) cans baked beans, drained
- 1 lb. cooked ground beef
- 1 lb. leftover brisket, chopped
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1–2 sweet onions, diced
- 2 green peppers, diced
- 1 bottle sweet and spicy BBQ sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- 3 TBSP BBQ rub
