These loaded BBQ baked beans from Bear Mountain ambassador Nick Nesgoda are super easy and sure to be the highlight of your next BBQ!

Steps

  1. Preheat grill to 375°F.
  2. Form 2 half pound burger patties and season with your favorite burger seasoning. 
  3. Grill burgers at 375°F using Bear Mountain BBQs Chef Choice pellets. 
  4. Cut bacon into bite sized pieces and cook until crispy. 
  5. Dice the green bell pepper and onion and cook for 5-7 minutes, until soft. 
  6. Remove burger patties from the grill and finely chop.
  7. Assemble in a pan: cans of baked beans, crispy bacon, chopped burgers, ketchup, mustard, barbeque sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. 
  8. Mix well then place back on the smoker at 250°F for 45 minutes, mix every 15 minutes or so. 
  9. Remove and enjoy!

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • burger seasoning
  • bacon 
  • green bell pepper – diced
  • onion – diced 
  • 2 large cans of baked beans
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • ½ cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
