Loaded BBQ Baked Beans
These loaded BBQ baked beans from Bear Mountain ambassador Nick Nesgoda are super easy and sure to be the highlight of your next BBQ!
Steps
- Preheat grill to 375°F.
- Form 2 half pound burger patties and season with your favorite burger seasoning.
- Grill burgers at 375°F using Bear Mountain BBQs Chef Choice pellets.
- Cut bacon into bite sized pieces and cook until crispy.
- Dice the green bell pepper and onion and cook for 5-7 minutes, until soft.
- Remove burger patties from the grill and finely chop.
- Assemble in a pan: cans of baked beans, crispy bacon, chopped burgers, ketchup, mustard, barbeque sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Mix well then place back on the smoker at 250°F for 45 minutes, mix every 15 minutes or so.
- Remove and enjoy!

- 1 lb. ground beef
- burger seasoning
- bacon
- green bell pepper – diced
- onion – diced
- 2 large cans of baked beans
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- ½ cup barbeque sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
