Georgia Peach Cobbler

The only thing sweeter than a Georgia peach is peeling and slicing it and putting it in a cobbler. Try this delicious family recipe from Bear Mountain ambassador Jennifer Plemmons.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 45-50 minutes

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh Georgia peaches, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • Bear Mountain BBQ’s Apple Pellet
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:

  • Preheat pellet grill or smoker to 375 and pour in Bear Mountain BBQ’s Apple Pellet.
  • Place the stick of butter into a 9x13 pan. Place pan in the grill while it preheats.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together milk, sugar and flour.
  • Remove pan from grill and pour milk mixture over the melted butter.
  • Evenly spoon the peaches on top of the milk mixture. Do not stir this mixture!
  • Smoke for 40-45 minutes until a browned crust forms and the edges are bubbly.
  • Take off the grill or smoker and serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
