Easy Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs
Simple and delicious, these Easy Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs by Bear Mountain BBQ ambassador Brandy Baker are sure to become an instant favorite.
Steps
- Preheat the grill to 400 degrees and pour in Bear Mountain BBQ Chef’s Choice pellets. Take out 3-4 mozzarella cheese sticks and slice them into 1-inch pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and next 5 ingredients (only use half of the Italian herb seasoning), mixing until well incorporated.
- Next, take a large pinch of the mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a slice of mozzarella in the center, then form the mixture into a tiny meatball. Repeat this process as needed and transfer the meatballs to a skillet.
- Once the grill has preheated, add the meatballs and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping as needed. Once the meatballs begin to brown, add in the marinara sauce and let the meatballs simmer until they reach at least 155 degrees.
- Transfer meatballs to a plate, garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
- Use toothpicks to serve them as meatballs or add them into a pasta dish.

- 2 lbs. ground beef-2/3 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp Italian herb seasoning
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 jar Carbone Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce
- ¼ cup parmesan, grated
- 3-4 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- Parsley, to garnish
- Bear Mountain BBQ Chef’s Choice pellets
