Cheesesteak Jalapeno Poppers
Steps
- Preheat your smoker to 325°F.
- Fry up ½ lb. bacon until crispy then set aside.
- Cook 1 diced onion and diced red bell pepper for 5 minutes in the bacon grease until softened.
- Add 1 lb. of shaved beef and season with your favorite steak seasoning.
- Top the beef with 5 slices of provolone cheese and once it’s nice and melty mix with your sauteed peppers and onions.
- Combine beef mixture in a bowl with 1 block of cream cheese and your crispy bacon.
- Slice your jalapenos in half and remove the seeds. Then stuff jalapenos with the meat mixture and top with your steak seasoning.
- Place on the smoker at 325°F for 45 minutes until the jalapeno is soft.
- Top with melted Cheese Whiz and enjoy!
