Cajun Butter Smoked Corn

Fresh sweet corn gets bathed in rich butter, heavy cream, and bold Cajun seasoning before ambassador Joe DiApice puts it on to soak up hardwood smoke. The result is tender, buttery corn with just the right amount of spice—an easy side dish that's guaranteed to steal the show at any cookout.

Steps

  1. Preheat your smoker to 350°F using Bear Mountain Savory BBQ Pellets.
  2. Cut the corn in half and arrange it in a disposable aluminum pan.
  3. Shave the frozen butter evenly over the corn, then season generously with the Cajun Honey Butter Rub.
  4. Pour the heavy cream into the pan.
  5. Place the pan on the smoker and cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
  6. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and continue cooking for 30 minutes, or until the corn is tender.
  7. Serve warm, spooning the buttery Cajun cream over the corn before serving.
