Bear Mountain BBQ Cherry Pellets

Steps

  1. Preheat your smoker to 275°F using Bear Mountain Cherry Pellets. Slice the smoked sausage into ¼-inch rounds, place them in a foil pan, coat with yellow mustard, and season generously with BBQ rub. Smoke for 1 hour.
  2. Add the butter, brown sugar, hot honey, and BBQ sauce to the pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  3. Increase the smoker temperature to 350°F and cook for 1 hour. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes and stir or brush the sauce over the sausage so each piece is evenly coated as the glaze caramelizes.
  4. Remove from the smoker and serve warm.

  • 32 oz smoked sausage
  • 2 TBSP yellow mustard
  • 4 TBSP BBQ rub
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 2 TBSP hot honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 TBSP butter
