American Flag Pie

Your guests are sure to be impressed with this patriotic masterpiece by Bear Mountain Ambassador Katherine Salom! This American Flag Pie combines sweet summer fruits and flaky crust and is baked to perfection on a pellet grill with a kiss of the amazing Bear Mountain BBQ smoke!

Steps

Preheat smoker/grill to 425F.
Place one pie crust in the bottom of a smoker safe pie tin.
Using a piece of tin foil, make a divider for where the blueberry filling will go at the top of the pie to make the stars portion of the flag.
Add the blueberry pie filling to this section. In the other section, add in your cherry pie filling.
Using the second pie crust, cut strips to make the stripes of the flags and the stars.
Cut the excess pie crust from around the edges of the pie pan then fold and crimp the edges.
Add to smoker and cook for about 35 minutes or until the top is beautiful and golden brown!

2 Refrigerated Pie Crusts
1 Can of Blueberry pie filling
2 Cans of Cherry pie filling
Tin foil
